Rashmi, a girl from Kutch, Gujarat got India gold medals. She says that from her early years she was only interested in running. Rashmi's story is about starting from running in the streets and overcoming all the difficulties and problems and becoming a world-class athlete. On 15 October 2021, her biographical film Rashmi Rocket was released. Kolkata-based PVC plumbing pipe manufacturing company Ori-Plast organized the Athlete Rashmi Samman ceremony on this occasion.
Ori-Plast director Mr H.V. Agarwal said that athlete Rashmi is the pride of India. He added, "It can be seen that women are not given equal opportunities as men. If our society gives them enough opportunities then it is possible that talents like Rashmi can emerge from every household. It is a matter of great pride that the film Rashmi Rocket has been released on a big canvas. Due to this a positive message will be given to society."
Ori-Plast is one of the most advanced companies in manufacturing PVC Plumbing Pipes since the year 1965. They employ more than 3000 people directly and indirectly. Ori-Plast director Mr H. V. Akarsh Khurana. Taapsee Pannu has played the character Rashmi in the lead role.
