Paryatan Parv’s Workshop on Tax Drivers and Operators at iLEAD




iLEAD organized a unique workshop on taxi drivers and operators for strengthening the tourism scenario of India. The event was organized in partnership with Ministry of Tourism- Govt. of India. The traffic association officers gave the taxi drivers and operators different tips and suggestions for obeying traffic rules and the way of providing a better service to the tourist and visitors. Mr. Chopra showed the audience a short presentation which dealt with the unknown tourist places where taxi drivers and operators can take the visitors and tourists for making them aware of such historically rich places. After the presentation there was a question answer round where taxi drivers and operators clarified all their doubts regarding traffic rules and other things related to travel and tourism operations. This interaction clarified many doubts about traffic rules and the governance of the tourism industry but also made the relation with traffic police more understanding and cooperative. Thereafter there was a short session regarding hygiene and cleanliness. The session focused on how a taxi driver should keep their taxi clean and maintain their personal hygiene. This helped the taxi drivers to get a better idea of how to carry themselves. At the end of the workshop, the taxi drivers were given a small token of appreciation.
