BRINGS LORD GANESHA TO LIFE WITH SPANISH ARTIST, ROSA BELENGUER
The brand’s expert artist
will instill life through colour at a live sculpture painting demonstration
event for the first time in India
Lladró, the world famous
Spanish brand known for its high quality porcelain products, has introduced its
meticulously crafted Lord Ganesha sculpture. This limited edition collection
came to life at a live painting event demonstrated by Lladró’s expert artist,
Rosa Belenguerat ITC Sonar, Kolkata
In front of a live audience,
Rosa instilled life in the exquisite Lord Ganesha sculpture through a mixture
of colours and meticulous artisanshipby decorating it with those particular
colours, which are distinctive, traditional symbols of the millenary Hindu
philosophy. At the end of demonstration, she finely captured Ganesha’s attributes
with infinite details.
Speaking about her
experience, Rosa Belenguer said, “The process of instilling life into
porcelain sculptures through paint and decoration is beyond doubt the most
rewarding task. Perfection can only be achieved through experience, which
provides an artist with the confidence to know how to mix glazes and colours,
and how to apply them with the necessary precision.”
This is Rosa’s first
demonstration tour in India wherein she performs in 6 metro cities. She has
been to Singapore, Japan and some European countries for live painting events
previously. The India event witnessed the presence of Lladró collectors
admiring the brand’s forte in the painstaking hand painting process for each of
their sculptures with a wealth of detailing.

The objective behind launching the sculpture via a live painting event was to

The limited edition Lord
Ganesha includesonly 1800 units and is part of the brand’s festive collection
for Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali.Only a few collectors, with a passion for art
or an investment perspective will own one of these porcelain treasures. Each
sculpture is priced at INR 4.50 lakhs.
