CBS-SAS Industry Advisory Board in Analytics Meeting

Calcutta Business School and SAS has jointly formed “CBS-SAS Industry Advisory Board in Analytics (CSIABA)” with eminent industry persons, professors from CBS and experts from SAS Institute to create a very strong industry connect, which will help to design and develop the curriculum in a much better way and also exploring and identifying suitable career opportunities for the students.

The first meeting of the Advisory Board was held on Friday, 26 June 2015 in Kolkata to discuss various issues pertaining to the roles and responsibilities of the advisory board curve out a path for future. The board has been empowered to take decisions on the development and pedagogy of the curriculum. To define the right curriculum for the students and what changes need to be incorporated in the curriculum to make the students more industry ready. The advisory board will also play an important role in contributing to the analytics industry and society at large as there are more than 2 Lacs of professional working in IT, ITES and Analytics domain in Kolkata.
