Kolkata, 2014: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI) is a statutory body established under the C.A. Act, 1949.  ICAI now is the second largest accounting body in the world. We have 5 Regional Councils &149 Branches across the country and 21 overseas chapters.  The Institute has grown over the years and is now privileged of having more than 2,20,000 Members and 11,00,000 Students spread all across the nation.

Eastern India Regional Council of ICAI jointly with all CPE Study Circles of ICAI would be celebrating its foundation day of the Institute popularly known as CA Dayon Tuesday, the 1st July, 2014 with special focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and a series of Social activities especially for the 300 in no. under privileged section of society has been as follows:

   1.   Blood Donation Camp
   2.   Distribution of Literacy Kit & Food to underprivileged School children
   3.   Panel Discussion

The programme will be attended by a large number of members and students.
