ANANDALOK HOSPITAL




Kolkata, 2014: More than three decades back, Sri D. K. Saraf founder ANANDALOK with the objective of bringing the benefits of modern medical treatment within the means of the lower middleclass people. In course of three decades, he has successfully materialized his aim and given  immense relief to the lower middleclass patients by way
of providing various facilities of treatment  / surgery at incredibly moderate rates. For instance, ANANDALOK provides eye examination and spectacles at Rs.10/-, treatment in well-equipped ICCU at cabin rent of Rs. 75/- per day, Coronary Bypass surgery at Rs.85000/-, which have no parallels in the history of medical services in our country.
Besides his invaluable contribution in medical service sector, Sri D. K. Saraf has also made an impressive mark in social service sector too. He regularly undertakes programmes such as distributing school books to needy students, setting of schools with mid-day meal facility in remote areas where there is no such school over a wide area, sinking tube wells in drought-hit areas, providing self-employment opportunity to rural unemployed youths and building `pucca’ houses for needy families.

All the staff members of ANANDLOK celebrated the 71st Birthday of Sri D. K. Saraf today, the 5th January,2014 in a befitting manner, On this occasion, Sri D. K. Saraf donated  Rs. 10 crore to ANANDALOK from his personal savings, which he had kept aside for his maintenance during old age. He has also donated his residential house to ANADALOK.
In this occasion a Blood donation camp is organised, were 132  staff members  and local public has donate there blood. Sri Madan Mitra, sports and transport minister Govt.of West Bengal and Sri Javed Akhtar Khan, Fire & essential service minister Govt. of West Bengal is also present.
