Shri
Anil Kumar Agarwal, IAS took
over the charge of the Director General of Employees’
State Insurance Corporation( ESIC) under Ministry of Labour &
Employment, Govt. of India at its Headquarter on 26.07.2012.
Shri Agarwal is an IAS officer of 1981 batch. Before this he was serving
as Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department, Govt.
of West Bengal.
Shri Anil Kumar Agarwal,
IAS has got vast experience of governance and management in the Ministries of
Environment & Forests and Agriculture & Co-operation of Central Govt.
and in the field of Revenue, Urban Development, Labour & Employment,
Science & Technology, Consumer Affairs and Agriculture in the State Govt.
Shri Agarwal is a
graduate of IIT Kanpur and post-graduate of IIM Bangalore. He has also earned
post-graduate degree of Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, New York,
USA.
